Protaper Gold Rotary files

ProTaper Gold Rotary Files are advanced nickel-titanium (NiTi) endodontic instruments designed for efficient and predictable root canal shaping. Developed with proprietary gold heat-treated metallurgy, they offer significantly improved flexibility and up to 2.4× greater resistance to cyclic fatigue compared to earlier systems, enhancing safety in curved canals.

The system includes shaping files (SX, S1, S2) and finishing files (F1–F5), allowing a progressive crown-down technique for precise canal preparation. Their convex triangular cross-section improves cutting efficiency while reducing rotational friction.
