Dentin Conditioner

Dentin Conditioner (commonly GC Dentin Conditioner) is a cavity conditioning agent used prior to placing glass ionomer cements (GIC). It is a mild 10% polyacrylic acid solution that cleans and prepares dentin and enamel surfaces, improving adhesion and ensuring long-lasting restorations.

It works by removing the smear layer and debris created during cavity preparation, allowing better interaction between the tooth surface and restorative material.
