Aquasil impression material

Aquasil Impression Material (Aquasil Ultra+) by Dentsply Sirona is a premium vinyl polysiloxane (VPS) elastomeric material used for highly accurate dental impressions. It features advanced hydrophilic “smart wetting” technology, allowing precise detail capture even in moist oral conditions, reducing voids and bubbles.

The material offers excellent tear strength and dimensional stability, ensuring impressions remain intact during removal and maintain accuracy for lab work. It is available in multiple viscosities—putty, heavy body, medium body, and light body—supporting techniques like putty-wash, double-mix, and monophase.

With optimal working and setting times, easy handling, and high detail reproduction (~20 microns), Aquasil is ideal for crowns, bridges, and precise prosthodontic impressions, delivering consistent and reliable clinical results.
